Faith Integration

Faith Woven Into Every Lesson

At Faribault Lutheran School, our faith is not an add-on,it’s the foundation. As a Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) school, we believe in nurturing both the hearts and minds of our students. That’s why the teachings of Jesus Christ and the truths of Scripture are integrated into everything we do, from academics to athletics, from the classroom to the playground.

Spiritual Growth Through Daily Practice

Students experience their faith daily through:

  • Daily Religion Class: Focused on Bible stories, application of God’s Word, and age-appropriate teachings of Lutheran doctrine.

  • Memory Work: Students regularly memorize and reflect on Bible verses, hymns, and key portions of Luther’s Small Catechism.

  • Weekly Chapel Services: Held every week for all students, chapel is a time for school-wide worship, prayer, and learning.

Christ-Centered Classrooms: Every subject is taught from a Biblical worldview, emphasizing God’s presence in all areas of life.

What We Believe – LCMS Foundations of Faith

As a school grounded in LCMS beliefs, we teach:

  • Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and salvation is by grace through faith.

  • The Bible is the Word of God, the source of truth for faith and life.
The Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are means by which God gives grace.

  • Luther’s Small Catechism is used as a foundational tool to teach core doctrines—such as the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the meanings behind them.

  • A confessional Lutheran worldview, equipping students to understand and articulate their faith confidently in today’s world.

Our goal is to form lifelong disciples of Christ. Our students not only know their Savior, His grace, forgiveness and love for them, but live out their faith with compassion, courage, and conviction.
