FAQ

ACADEMICS & FAITH
What is the average class size at FLS?
Our class sizes are intentionally kept small to support student learning and relationship-building. Most classes have between 16 and 24 students.

How is religion taught at FLS?
Faith is integrated into everything we do. All students participate in daily religion classes and weekly chapel services. Starting in kindergarten, students learn and memorize Bible verses with support from teachers and parents. We also incorporate Christian music and hymns into our fine arts programming and embed Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) values throughout our curriculum.

Do I need to be Lutheran to attend FLS?
No. FLS welcomes families of all faith backgrounds. All students learn about the Christian faith, and we invite families to visit our partner churches to learn more.

TUITION & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
What is tuition at FLS?
Tuition is set annually by the FLS Board of Directors. Thanks to the support of Trinity and Peace Lutheran Churches, we keep tuition significantly below the actual cost of education. Additional fees include a registration fee, volunteer fee, and a technology fee per student.
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Tuition assistance is offered through TADS, an independent service that considers various factors to assess each family’s need. We are grateful to our donors and congregational partners for making this support possible.
